Notes from Recipients

My son had surgery last week at St. Luke's Hospital, and he is still recovering.  The blanket he received from you gave him the biggest smile that day, and is the one he grabs to snuggle up with.  Fitting enough it has a John Deer Tractor on it, and he loves trucks and tractors.  I can't thank you enough for this kind gesture.  What you are doing is truly making a difference!

Hello, I want to thank you all so much for your generosity and compassion. We had a very rough day in the hospital yesterday with my 2 year old while she was going through 4 MRI's trying to get some answers to head pain she has been experiencing. It's a sad and scary time for us as parents. The sweet blanket was a very special and unexpected touch that we will never forget. She kept it the whole time with her and that is what we wrapped her up in and carried her home. We will cherish it and you all!
God bless you all!

My son was unfortunate enough to need his appendix removed last week at Memorial Hermann hospital the Woodlands. Although he is 16 years old, it's still a scary thing to be stuck in the hospital recovering from surgery when you are supposed to be taking a physics test the next day. It was so nice to receive one of your lovely soft blankets ( a shark pattern) to help keep him warm. It currently is on the end of his bed for him to use once the weather finally turns cool.

Thank you again for the lovely gift.
