What is Project Linus?

Project Linus is a national non-profit organization with a two-fold mission:

First, to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers."

Second, to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested

individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.

What are "Chapter Meetings?"

Our monthly Chapter Meetings are a time when we get together and prepare

all donated blankets for delivery to one of the agencies we work with.  Each blanket

is checked to make sure it follows our Guidelines, then a special label is sewn on

and a tag showing the size and gender it's best suited for.

There is something for everyone to do, whether you sew or not, and we have

so much fun so I hope you will join us!  Enter at the east end of the building and

head down the hall to the Community Room.  (You will probably hear us before

you see us!)

You are officially invited,

Ms. Marc Layton
